The word “philanthropy” originated with the ancient Greeks; it means “Love of humanity.” Philanthropic giving is personal and inspired by individual beliefs and experiences. This is what makes our supporters uniquely special. Your investment in HomeSafe represents your belief in our mission and in the potential inherent in each and every client we serve. At HomeSafe, we recognize our responsibility to not only to the children and families in our care, but also the generous benefactors who invest in their future.
Make an Outright Gift or Recurring Gift Pledge (our greatest need)
Unrestricted contributions can be made as a one-time gift or recurring gift pledge and sustain our programs throughout the year.
Establish an Endowment
With a minimum gift of $25,000, benefactors can establish an endowed fund to support HomeSafe’s general operations (greatest need) or designate their endowed gift in support of a specific program or area. Endowed funds can be named for the benefactor, his/her family or business or in memory of a loved one. We also welcome contributions of less than $25,000 in support of one of HomeSafe’s existing endowments.
Make a bigger impact by donating long-term appreciated securities, including stock, bonds, and mutual funds. Compared with donating cash, or selling your appreciated securities and contributing the after-tax proceeds, by donating securities directly to HomeSafe, you may be able to automatically increase your gift and your tax deduction.
Leave a Legacy
Leaving a legacy gift is simple and, in most cases, does not impact your current financial situation. We will work with you (and your legal and financial advisors, when appropriate) to create a philanthropic plan customized for you. If you are have already included HomeSafe in your estate planning, please let us know. We would appreciate the opportunity to express our gratitude by recognizing you as a Founding Member of Connor’s Circle.
Name a Program or Facility
There are a variety of naming opportunities available at our current campuses and within our existing programs. Over the next 12-18 months, benefactors will have an opportunity to attribute their name to newly-constructed spaces and facilities at HomeSafe’s two state-of-the-art residential campuses in West Palm Beach. Current and future naming opportunities range from $10,000 to $3 million.
We welcome the opportunity to discuss your philanthropic options with you. Please contact HomeSafe’s Chief Advancement Officer, Shannon Wayte, at 954-529-6776 or ShannonWayte@HelpHomeSafe.org.
