HomeSafe Announces New Board Members

 

LAKE WORTH, FL (June 15, 2015) — The HomeSafe board of directors recently elected new members Diego Rico and Sonny Maken.

Diego Rico currently serves as a Managing Principal and Chief Structuring Officer for Westbrook Partners where he has held various positions since March 2006.  Prior to joining Westbrook Partners, Rico was an Executive Director at Morgan Stanley.  Rico has 24 years of experience in real estate tax and transaction structuring.  He holds a Bachelor’s Degree in accounting from St. Thomas Aquinas College and is a Certified Public Accountant.  Rico resides in Palm Beach Gardens.

Sonny Maken, CCIM, is the founder of The Maken Group, a premier real estate and business investment advisory & consulting firm providing disposition services nationwide. He graduated from the School of Foreign Service at Georgetown University in Washington DC with a degree in International Economics and a concentration in International Finance and Commerce.

Maken is a member of the Georgetown Club of Palm Beach, and has served on the Georgetown Alumni Interview Panel. He served on the Board of Directors of the Florida Association of Realtors, Realtors Ft. Lauderdale and the Commercial Alliance (an organization for which he was also President). Maken is also the past winner of the 40 under 40 Award from South Florida Business Journal, and the 40 under 40 Award from Real Estate Forum Magazine.  Maken resides in West Palm Beach.
