HomeSafe benefits from the Great Charity Challenge with grants from Ziegler Family Foundation and Achieve

WELLINGTON, Florida (February 3, 2020) – HomeSafe won two prizes that will support the agency’s work to help victims of child abuse and domestic violence in the Great Charity Challenge presented by Fidelity Investments® (GCC) on Saturday, February 1.

The agency was one of five Palm Beach County nonprofits awarded a $10,000 grant from the Ziegler Family Foundation at the event, held at the Palm Beach International Equestrian Center in Wellington. These grants are awarded to a select group of organizations that have an operating budget exceeding $3.5 million and that meet all other GCC related requirements, including a thorough analysis of their operations and efficiency in managing their businesses.

In addition, HomeSafe received a Social Media Advertising Grant valued up to $18,000 from local digital agency Achieve, a GCC partner. This grant will help raise HomeSafe’s visibility in the community as the agency seeks continued support for its current services and embarks on a project to build two new state-of-the art residential campuses for abused and neglected children in Palm Beach County.

“HomeSafe is thrilled and thankful to receive these grants from the Ziegler Family Foundation and Achieve,” said HomeSafe CEO Matthew Ladika. “Both investments represent wonderful new partnerships that will strengthen our efforts to create safer, more productive lives for infants, children, young adults and families.”
